Birds by Toikka Design Oiva Toikka Birds. Oiva Toikka's boundless inspiration and imagination find expression in his glass birds. Toikka's birds are handmade in Nuutajärvi, a glass-making village in Finland that is over two hundred years old. The creation of the birds demands great technique and artistic insight from the glassblowers. Each bird is unique, featuring its own distinctive colour variations.
